A lot of my patients come in (after asking if acupuncture can help) for colds and flu symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, wheezing and chest pain. I find a common issue, especially in the U.S., is that most people never stop and take care of their body. A COLD or FLU are signs that your body is deficient and needs some rest. We are go go go society with unrealistic goals in work, health, homelife and even relationships. Also, when your body is sick it's important to take in the proper nutrients in your foods. A can of chicken soup is not as healthy as getting an organic chicken, boiling it whole with a few onions, and drinking the broth.
